Terms of Service

Last updated: March 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AS2 Certify platform ("Service"), operated by Branson Solutions LLC ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AS2 Certify is a software-as-a-service platform that provides automated AS2 connection testing, certificate validation, and compliance reporting. The Service validates AS2 protocol configurations including TLS connectivity, certificate chains, encryption, digital signatures, and MDN (Message Disposition Notification) exchange.

AS2 CERTIFY IS NOT A CERTIFICATION BODY, AUDITOR, OR REGULATORY AUTHORITY. Our testing results and compliance reports are informational tools to assist your team in validating AS2 configurations. They do not constitute formal certification, legal compliance verification, or a guarantee of interoperability with any specific trading partner.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

The Service is offered under multiple subscription tiers (Free, Pro, Pharma, Enterprise) with varying features and usage limits. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to test endpoints you do not own or have explicit authorization to test
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or access controls
  • Upload malicious files, malware, or content designed to exploit vulnerabilities
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized third parties to access your account

6. Certificate and Data Handling

Certificates you upload to the Service are encrypted at rest using AWS S3 server-side encryption with KMS-managed keys. Private keys (when included in PKCS12 uploads) are stored in AWS Secrets Manager. Certificate data is used solely for the purpose of AS2 connection testing and validation.

We do not share your certificate data with third parties. Uploaded certificates may be automatically deleted after test completion as part of our data minimization practices.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Stripe for payment processing and subscription management
  • OpenRouter for AI assistant responses (Pro, Pharma, and Enterprise plans)
  • Amazon Web Services for infrastructure, certificate storage, and report hosting

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, documentation, and content, is the property of Branson Solutions LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you upload to or generate through the Service, including test results and compliance reports.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Test results reflect the state of your AS2 configuration at the time of testing and may not reflect subsequent changes.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRANSON SOLUTIONS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
